Rob Morris started teaching school in 1984. He taught and coached for four years in rural Medicine Bow, Wyoming, before moving to Idaho Falls in 1989. Rob has taught in Idaho Falls School District #91 ever since, including 17 years at Clair E. Gale, 4 years at night at Continuation Night High School, 5 years at Eagle Rock Junior High, and one year at Emerson Alternative High School. This is his first year teaching at Idaho Falls High School. Rob is certified and Highly Qualified in all the Social Studies as well as English for grades 6-12. Married to Geri, a Registered Nurse, for 28 years, he and Geri have three grown children and three grandchildren. A 1981 graduate of the University of Montana, Missoula, he has pioneer roots in Idaho going back to the 1870s. Rob also works as an award-winning professional military historian, with numerous published books to his credit. Some of these books are found to the right on this page. He is a two-time Teacher of the Year at Eagle Rock Junior High School in Idaho Falls and was honored in 2010 by Idaho Falls Magazine as one of the Top 50 People in Idaho Falls.
